Event Details

2011 has been a pivotal year for DCWW. In addition to re-branding the organization, we organized some amazing seminars and events and forged partnerships with many fantastic organizations.

To thank all of our members, sponsors and partners for making 2011 such a great year for DCWW, we are throwing one last BIG event for the year! Join us as we celebrate good tidings and welcome in the holidays and new year!

Held at the elegant Veritas Wine Bar near Dupont Circle, attendees and guests will connect with old friends and new while enjoying an open bar and delicious food.

In addition to all the noshing and networking, leading communications and advocacy strategist Shana Glickfield, partner of Beekeeper Group and founder of the renowned The DC Concierge blog, will discuss the importance of personal branding and leadership building for 2012.

During her brief presentation, Shana will offer some cool tips on how to effectively develop and maintain your brand online and how technologists - particularly women - can grow their leadership skills and help #ChangeTheRatio.

There will also be a raffle of tech-inspired and non-tech items including a very special grand prize - a Kindle Fire!

Some other raffle items include:

Private Bike Lesson
Champagne & Popcorn Bag
Wine case with tools and a bottle of wine
Tickets to UX Camp DC

And more...

All attendees present will also receive a holiday-themed gift bag. So come in from the cold, grab a glass and help DCWW end the 2011 with a bang!

Many, many thanks to our event sponsors!!

Vitamin T

We have a simple philosophy at Vitamin T: to personally place the best creative talent in the best jobs for the best companies. Since we’re massively nerdy fans of creative, this sort of thing comes naturally to us, which means as a client, you get hand-picked talent perfectly suited to your job, and as talent, you get freelance work that doesn’t make you want to wash your eyes out with hand sanitizer. Win-win!
